Translated from German
Olaf H.: “I really enjoyed the introduction to the Indian Music System. You can feel Hafize’s passion and professional skill in her singing and her playing of the Tanpura. I will definitely be back. Namaste.“ (26.02.2024)
“I have been to Hafize twice and can only say that her extraordinary music from the Indian tradition has made my world even more colourful. Yes, music is medicine and meditation.“ (24.04.2024)

Sabine R.: “I found the lessons with you really very interesting and enriching, and they flew by incredibly quickly. :o)
It’s fascinating to discover everything that happens when you sing: tension and relaxation in different parts of the body, resonance (abdomen, throat, forehead, mouth…), voice training and sound spaces, and much more. I had no idea how much I had been influenced by school choir (head voice). At the same time, I also realized how much I simply don’t consciously perceive or don’t know what/how I’m doing it, which made it more difficult for me to do the exercises… I just tried to follow along and then kept getting stuck in a range that was too low for me at the moment without being able to get out of it on my own. I noticed how much breathing affects the voice, both in singing and speaking, and how my inhalation and exhalation had become significantly longer in the course of singing. It seems that I am not currently using my vocal volume to its full potential. I would like to explore this further and practise more, or become more mindful. In this respect, I would be happy to come back for another course.“ (18.02.2025)
“I wanted to say again how much I enjoyed the last time you guided/accompanied us vocally, both as a group and as individuals, and also that the experience was different from the first visit and I was able to discover new things again.“ (08.04.2025)

Alexander Avrutin: “The Sound Space vocal exercise with Hafize was a wonderful experience for me. I was able to perceive what a delicate and sensitive instrument our vocal cords are; how important it is to treat them with care and without any pressure. And how much this mindful treatment of the vocal cords contributes to a good general body awareness. Hafize works with the participants in her workshop with a great deal of love.
The Sound Journey with Hafize was a great experience for me with beautiful Indian Music. You just want to listen and enjoy. I could feel the cleansing and healing power of the vibrations intensely. Likewise through the vibrations while I was allowed to touch the playing Tanpura.“ (29.06.2025)
“Dear Hafize, Your event still resonates with me today… I was able to observe that when a sound experience is made up of a variety of different objects, it can easily overshadow a sound unity that consists solely of singing bowls — even when the singing bowls have different tonal colors. The variety of high frequencies has something refreshing, cleansing, and renewing about it, while the deeper tones are grounding, relaxing, and calming… You are well equipped not only to do something good for your clients, but also to offer them an experience with depth—because not every beneficial practice, such as meditation, is experienced as more than merely useful by everyone.“ (25.01.2026)

Anna-Maria (about Loriot)

After Loriot, my leashed dog, was attacked by two dogs, I abruptly picked him up onto my lap. It was shocking for both of us. After that, Loriot no longer wanted to go outside and, even days later, kept turning around in circles. He seemed apathetic and no longer really responded to me. When I met Hafize and told her about it, she offered a harmonization through sounds. I wanted to give it a try, and thus Loriot received three sound sessions.
1st session: When the first sounds came out of the Wah-Wah Pipe, Loriot first barked happily, then sniffed the Wah-Wah Pipe intensely and lay down completely relaxed, which he never does when strangers are visiting. After a few minutes, he got up again and lay down directly in front of Hafize, then got up again and lay down behind Hafize. All the while, he listened attentively to the sounds. Then, visibly delighted, he ate all of his food, which he doesn’t necessarily like. Loriot usually eats at night when no one is watching him. Afterwards, he drank a lot and lay down again, then drank again, always completely relaxed. My granddaughter laughed the whole time and listened closely, so she was also completely relaxed.
2nd session: Loriot first sniffed everything again, lay down completely relaxed and closed his eyes tightly. He remained lying down the whole time and slept. Then he went to my granddaughter’s play frame and lay down again, completely relaxed. When Hafize wanted to say goodbye, he ate everything in his bowl again. He never eats in front of strangers. After that, he continued sleeping.
3rd session: Loriot greets Hafize like his best friend. After the first sounds are heard, Loriot seems totally relaxed, despite four times of the emergency siren! He sleeps for a while, but obviously listens again in between. He looks at me very intensely, then his eyes close again. I have the feeling that he knows these sounds and that they make him feel safe. Loriot keeps looking at me intensely the whole time. After Hafize replaces the wah-wah pipe with the longer one, he seems to notice that the sounds are different now and lies down directly in front of Hafize. Then he lies down on his cushion again and is completely relaxed, closing his eyes once more. I leave the room to take a phone call and Loriot remains lying there, relaxed. He never does that; he usually follows me around.
Dear Hafize, your sessions have done Loriot and me a lot of good. We would be happy to repeat them. (June 2025)

Anju Joseph: “I recently attended a Sound Accompanied Meditation with Hafize, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The session was calming, engaging, and very thoughtfully guided. I felt completely comfortable and supported throughout, and the sounds really helped me relax and connect with myself on a deeper level. Hafize has such a gentle and positive energy, and her approach made the session both meaningful and enjoyable. I left feeling refreshed, peaceful, and inspired. Thank you, Hafize, for such a beautiful experience! For sure I will visit again.“ (01.11.2025)

Fereshta B.: “Sunday mornings with Hafize are always very precious and enriching for me. She guides the exercises—or rather, the sounds—with such mindfulness, presence, and a deep sensitivity to the moment that I can completely relax into them, and again and again new sound spaces open up. I find it simply healing. It is wonderful to immerse yourself completely in the sound while singing in this way, and to feel your body, soul and spirit begin to resonate again. Thank you so much for this, dear Hafize!“ (14.01.2026)
